Who I am
I am a Concord resident of four years who rents on the border of downtown and the South End. I live with a roommate and my seven year old retired racing greyhound named Turn (formerly known on the racetrack as Turn Me Loose).
I’m also your city councilor, just beginning my two-year term. I ran for office because I Iove where I live and love the people that make up our neighborhoods and communities. I want you to feel connected to the city and represented on the council.
As a working-class person, issues that are highest priority for me (and the majority of voters in Ward 6!) are: expanding affordable housing, effectively growing our tax base to reduce individual tax burden, tackling homelessness as a priority, pursuing smart investments in projects that benefit our communities, and increasing accessibility of local government.
Now that I’m in office, it’s my goal to engage as many of you as possible. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. I welcome the opportunity to help navigate you through city resources or troubleshoot an issue. I don’t know everything quite yet…but I know how to find the answers!
I also welcome anyone who wants to discuss about ideas they have— want to host a block party but don’t know where to start? Have thoughts about a troublesome intersection or parking area? Are you starting a new community group and want help with outreach? Let’s talk.
